Only an empty directory is created! I also tried the 1.0.7a ebuild which is masked with the same results. dethbox2 media-video # equery files usb-pwc-re [ Searching for packages matching usb-pwc-re... ] media-video/usb-pwc-re-10.0.7a * Contents of media-video/usb-pwc-re-10.0.7a: /etc /etc/modules.d /lib /lib/modules /lib/modules/2.6.12-gentoo-r6 /lib/modules/2.6.12-gentoo-r6/kernel /lib/modules/2.6.12-gentoo-r6/kernel/drivers /lib/modules/2.6.12-gentoo-r6/kernel/drivers/usb /lib/modules/2.6.12-gentoo-r6/kernel/drivers/usb/media /lib/modules/2.6.12-gentoo-r6/kernel/drivers/usb/media/pwc Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. emerge usb-pwc-re 2. 3. It does not make sense to build a module when you have the driver built into you kernel. Please select "no" or "module", but not "yes" in your kernel configuration when asked for the pwc driver. If I am wrong, please re-open this bug.
Changed the ebuild to make it fail and give a hint instead of just installing nothing.
