see summary Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. run: iftop -B -i ppp0 Actual Results: Values in the 1st column have no relation to reality. They are about an order of magnitude higher than the 2nd or 3rd column (but there is no easily discernible relationship, like a constant factor or anything), and it's not some transient error either, the problem persists no matter how long iftop is running, making the 2s average basically useless when 'use-bytes' is in effect. Expected Results: The 1st column should roughly correspond to the values in the 2nd and 3rd column, assuming a stream with a fairly constant rate is present (which was the case at the time). Version: net-analyzer/iftop-0.16
i can't confirm/reproduce it. seems works fine on my system...
