Comment 1 Jory A. Pratt 2005-08-07 18:21:01 UTC
Not an mozilla issue, your using a cvs head which is package masked. I am sure
if you downgrade back to the latest ~arch release 6.8.2-r2 I am sure you will
not see the problme. I would suggest sending the issue upstream to X.org.
Comment 2 Donnie Berkholz (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-08-07 18:53:59 UTC
What's your freetype version? If you're on 2.1.10, try 2.1.9.
Comment 3 Andrew Resch 2005-08-07 21:50:02 UTC
Downgrading freetype seems to have fixed the problem. Thanks.
Comment 4 Donnie Berkholz (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-08-07 21:53:46 UTC
There are known issues between >=xorg-x11-6.8.99 and freetype-2.1.10.
Comment 5 Fritz Heinrichmeyer 2005-08-08 05:29:26 UTC
you can crash also current xorg-x11-6.8.2-r2 by displaying certain fonts when
using freetype-2.1.10, even with xfontsel. It is an already registered
freetype-2.1.10 bug, forgot the number and i.e. already patched in freebsd
Comment 6 Donnie Berkholz (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-10-12 20:14:26 UTC
There are two upstream bugs for this:
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4721 and
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3922.
Comment 7 Joshua Baergen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-11-20 21:23:30 UTC
This fix should now be in modular (7.0).
Comment 8 Joshua Baergen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-11-20 21:23:44 UTC
Marking fixed.
