i'm having problems w/ dvdrip, it says "Warning: prerequisite Gtk::Gdk::Pixbuf 0 not found." on emerge, and can't find Pixbuf.pm i have gdk-pixbuf, perl-gtk, etc. all emerged, but it doesn't contain the file Pixbuf.pm. current ebuilds don't seem to do anything.
The ebuild for gtk-perl was recently updated to include this missing dependancy. You may wish to re-emerge gtk-perl (so that it recompiles against the gdk-pixbuf part) and then try again. Let me know how this works out for you, Micahael

How odd. I'm having an unrelated problem with DVD::Rip, but everything seems to be emerging fine. Or rather, "worksforme." ;-D
r8 has better dep checkig for gtk-perl. let me know.
Latest gdk-pixbuf and gtk-perl aren't making any difference, Pixbuf.pm doesn't exist :( Shane, what package installed Pixbuf.pm on your system?
Mike, Hold on. Looks like I made an overzealous dep check in the latest release, testing a mod now, will be posting a replacement for r8 shortly if it fixes the problem with Pixbuf.pm.
gtk-perl is fixed. GDKPixbuf.pm (pachage GTK::GDK::Pixbuf.pm) is now installed again. Terribly sorry about that.
dvdrip is now working nicely (read: it starts :))... Don't worry about it Michael, we're only human after all Another bug squished!
