(In reply to comment #1) > Eh? Please, explain better what are you requesting... what more info is needed ? what i would like to do is have my testing ebuilds in my local overlays before thay are added in the portage, but since net-fido is not in the tree i can't even test it if its not needed tell me how then #37806 seems relative to this aswell, but i will not call it email
I'm sorry, what is net-fido? We cannot add an ebuild if you tell use zero information and fill "null" into the URL. Duh!

Duh! http://www.google.com/search?q=fidonet&sourceid=mozilla-search&start=0&start=0&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8 this could be very fun if more info is still needed to create an portage tree
I'm sorry, I have no clue what are you requesting. If you want to create a new *category*, then no - we won't be adding dummy categories for non-existent ebuilds. You can easily add a custom category yourself, see man portage. echo "net-fido" >> /etc/portage/categories If you are requesting an ebuild, then you miserably failed to provide any useful information whatsoever.
Closing as WONTFIX.
