All I had to do to get the new version was cd /usr/local/portage/app-cdr/gnomebaker/ cp gnomebaker-0.3.ebuild gnomebaker-0.4.ebuild emerge gnomebaker-0.4.ebuild However, I lost the gnomebaker ".desktop" entry in my gnome applications menu afterwards... sadness Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. emerge -pv gnomebaker 2. eix gnomebaker Actual Results: I only see version 0.3 in the main tree, and 0.4 in my overlay Expected Results: I want to see version 0.4
emerge --sync then look harder, it's there echo "=app-cdr/gnomebaker-0.4" >> /etc/portage/package.keywords If losing the gnomebaker desktop entry is indeed a bug, please file a new one :) Jim If closed in error please re-open
I seriously just sync'd last night. I guess syncing everyday just wasn't as good as it used to be... And actually, the desktop file just recat'd itself into accessories rather than sound & video. Not sure how I feel about that... Sorry for troubling you!
