Description Charles Tassell 2005-08-04 01:38:36 UTC
When I attempted to upgrade proftpd tonight, I got an error on the dev-db/libpq
dependancy that the file size of one of some of the ebuilds were incorrect. I
tried syncing twice, I noticed that the last server synced with was
cockatoo.gentoo.org but didn't notice what the other one was, but that didn't
fix the problem. I ran ebuild <path to ebuild> digest and that let me continue.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge sync
2.emerge dev-db/libpq
3.

Actual Results:
emerge failed with manifest file problems (file size on different ebuilds)

Expected Results:
installed the libpq upgrade

this usually happens when there is a race condition in the sync. it happens once
in a while and usually isnt a problem after a resync
