The ivy dependancy management utility has hit version 1.0.  It would be nice if
this was included in the appropriate ant-* ebuild so that the ivy tasks are
picked up automatically by >=ant-1.6

It is under BSD license so there should be no problem including this in gentoo.

I added an ebuild and patches for this package to the experimental overlay:

Any chance you have created a newer ant-ivy ebuild for my local overlay?  There are a few known issues that have been fixed in version 1.3-RC2 which came out earlier this month, including fixing this timeout problem with ibiblio (which is currently taking up 300 seconds of my time a run).

Version 1.3.1 in portage as dev-java/ant-ivy.
