Description Simon Stelling (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-08-03 08:44:11 UTC
media-libs/openal-20040817 creates absolute links rather than relative ones,
which will fail if ${ROOT} !=
/ and causes problems with the creation of amd64's emul-linux-x86-* packages

media-libs/openal-20040817 (/usr/lib64/libopenal.so.0.0.7)
media-libs/openal-20040817 (/usr/lib64/libopenal.so ->
/usr/lib64/libopenal.so.0.0.7)
media-libs/openal-20040817 (/usr/lib64/libopenal.so.0 ->
/usr/lib64/libopenal.so.0.0.7)

Is this still the case with openal-20050504-r1?
Comment 2 Simon Stelling (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-09-27 14:02:32 UTC
sorry for the long delay, somehow missed it :/ it's not reproducible with -r1
