/etc/init.d/rp-pppoe script does no longer exist in rp-pppoe-3.5-r11. it has been replaced by adsl baselayout net module, which also will be obsoleted (along with the entire client part of the net-dialup/rp-pppoe) by the upcoming pppd module (see bug #53954).
