When doing recursive retriaval on ftp, wget (net-misc/wget-1.9.1-r5) is using ftp glob function. That's probably while standard recursion code is not used on ftp. Problem is when later proxy is detected and http code is used instead ... without recursion. So only directory file (index.html generated by proxy) is downloaded. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. ftp_proxy=10.0.3.16:3128 wget --debug -v -v -r --follow-ftp -H -A proxy.kancelar.seznam.cz,sunsite.ms.mff.cuni.cz ftp://sunsite.ms.mff.cuni.cz/OS/Linux/Kernel/v2.6/incr/ or 2 (simpler). ftp_proxy=10.0.3.16:3128 wget -r ftp://sunsite.ms.mff.cuni.cz/OS/Linux/Kernel/v2.6/incr/ Actual Results: Only index.html was downloaded. Expected Results: Download whole directory. Honza, you probably want to file this upstream and track there.
Is this still even remotely relevant?
