Im using a USB Microsoft Explorer 3 buttons Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.# X -configure 2.wait 3.error shows up Actual Results: nothing Expected Results: install the X?
Use one of the entries in /dev/input/ (i.e. mice, mouse0, mouse1) as your mouse, instead of /dev/mouse (the default), by doing: xorgconfig instead of the graphical X -configure
Look here also: http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/xorg-config.xml.
ian: Did you try to get help via forums.g.o or the gentoo user mailing list? This doesn't look like a valid bug, but more as a cry for help.
