I added kerberos as global USE-flag, and rebuilt (emerge -DuN world) the system. I tried the same without kerberos flag, and ran into the same problem. version 2.2.27 is also affected Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. (re)emerge openldap-2.2.27-r1 2. 3. please attach the assert.o that it did not recognize.
Unable to comply... I palyed around with my system, and fo some reason I cleaned my PORTAGE_TMPDIR - which I have done before - and had to rebuild openldap. And I worked. I don't understand why, but it did. I am sorry for having wasted your time. I am marking the bug as INVALID for obvious reasons Cheers Nicolas
