Description David E.Miller 2002-11-02 10:47:55 UTC
Emerged lastest version (Mozilla-1.0.1-r1). All dependencies satisfied. Mozilla
fails to render pages normally. Could not get any website to display an html
page correctly including www.gentoo.org. Objects missing from displayed page
and/or out of normal position. Emerged Opera, Netscape and Dillo. No problems
noted with any of these three browsers. All installed gentoo world and system
packages are up to date.

If you actually feel to give snapshots/any responce at all, reopen it.
Comment 3 David E.Miller 2002-11-05 14:17:46 UTC
Discovered change made to a different program caused X windows to start in 8
bpp mode. This setting was not adequate for Mozilla to render pages properly.
Reset X windows to 32 bpp and found no furter problems.
