We need to write gcc-2.95.3<->gcc-3.2 compatibility wrapper for the Java plugins.

Why is this solution preferable to compiling the 1.4 JDK 
from source using GCC 3.2?

Seems like everyone doesn't agree on that compiling j2sdk is a good thing:

I won't be able to complete this reasonably soon (as it's inital creation date shows).

I this still considered important, now that we have a gcc3.2 compiled version of blackdown-1.4.1_02 and will soon have sun-jdk-1.4.2 compiled with gcc3.2. Could be marked won't fix. Or do we have to wait until 1.4.2 is in portage?

Closing this bug, since we have sun-jdk 1.4.2 that has the plugin compiled 
with gcc 3.X, and its working ok
