Description Eckhart Guthöhrlein 2005-07-31 10:47:24 UTC
Attempt to emerge lablgtk fails with message
checking for gtkgl-2.0... Package gtkgl-2.0 was not found in the pkg-config
search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `gtkgl-2.0.pc'
to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable
No package 'gtkgl-2.0' found
configure: error: gtkgl enforced but support not found

export PKG_CONFIG_PATH=/lib64/pkgconfig (where gtkgl-2.0.pc is) fixes the
problem and allows emerging.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge lablgtk
2.
3.

Actual Results:
Installation fails with message above.

Expected Results:
Installed fine.

Same problem here.

Traced it to the location of the gtkgl.pc file. That is located in
/lib/pkgconfig and that is not searched by the pkgconfig-binary in the normal
installation. After setting PKG_CONFIG_PATH="/lib/pkgconfig/" the installation
went fine.
