several new capabilities are available in the new version of heartbeat which was
released today.  I'd like to experiment with it on some new gentoo loadbalancers
here.

I can create me own experimental ebuild if no one else gets around to it.

Any news here? I'm starting with Linux HA and if possible I'd like to work with
Heartbeat 2.0 directly instead of learn and use 1.x before. ;-)

I just wanted to know you guys that i'm also quite eager to see heartbeat 2.0 in
the portage tree :) 
For the same reasons as michele from comment #5. I'm just starting a project
with heartbeat/drbd on Gentoo, and I want to use v2 right from the start.

With apologies to anyone who was working on this, I wanted to run a 2.x
heartbeat and thought I would make an ebuild.

Could someone please double check and make sure it runs on their machine too?

heartbeat-2.0.2 is in cvs.
