Description Paul Taylor 2005-07-30 17:27:22 UTC
There are problems with both Australian rsync mirrors at present.

rsync2.au.gentoo.org (203.17.15.14) appears to be down, and has been for several
days - I can't ping it, and rsync connections eventually timeout.

rsync3.au.gentoo.org (203.87.95.205) is reporting a "server out of date" error;
this may be temporary:

>>> starting rsync with rsync://203.87.95.205/gentoo-portage...
>>> checking server timestamp ...
This is rsync3.au.gentoo.org.

[snip]

>>>
>>> SERVER OUT OF DATE: rsync://203.87.95.205/gentoo-portage
>>>

>>> retry ...

rsync3.au seems to be fine now. Removed rsync2.au from the .au rotation since
it is still not responding. CCing admin.

Marc, Any info?

I have since cleaned up the rsync.au.gentoo.org rotaton. The .15.14 IP has been
removed.
