I'm sorry! I moved the patches to the ibiblio gentoo mirror, but forgot to change the ebuild to fetch from there. I've committed the changes now. Please delete /usr/portage/distfiles/htdig_3_1_x* and let it fetch agani, and the md5sums should be correct this time.
