cpuburn is quite small and would help for people to stress test their machine

The installation media is only for installing, not for testing or tweaking 
anything. I will close this bug but keep it in mind once I get back to Dolphin.

It has been added to the LiveCD (but not the InstallCD)...

is it a bootable option ?  be neat to have as a boot test option like memtest

Unfortunately, no.  It needs a full system underneath it to work.  If you can piece together some way to otherwise make it work, I'll gladly add it as a boot option to all x86/amd64 CDs.

the code itself does not require anything external ... it has a few header files to make it compile as elf, but otherwise it's all in pure asm

Hrrrmn... if it'll run directly booted, then I'll add it.  For some reason I thought that it wouldn't work.

i looked around and while it could be done, it'd require having a libgloss toolchain to generate said binaries ... i dont think we have anything in place (yet) to support it
