The fix mentioned in  
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=88474  
isn't in the new version of arts apparently so the cpu overload problem exists  
on AMD64. I modified the ebuild to use the the arts-3.4.1-cpu-overload.patch 
and it applies cleanly and the arts sound server will work with alsa selected.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge arts-3.4.2 
2.restart kde 
3. 
 
Actual Results:  
arts cpu overload message is displayed after the system is frozen for 10 
seconds or so.

Thanks. Added the patch to the 3.4.2 ebuild. 
The 3.4.1 ebuild comment incorrectly stated that the patch was applied to the 
3.4 branch upstream. Actually it was only applied to trunk (now 3.5).
