You should unmask Seahorse 0.7.8 as this version is the only one that supports Gnome's new plugin mechanism. I'm using 0.7.8 for quite a while now and I never had any issues, therefore I see no reason why it's still ~x86 only. Seahorse 0.7.7 and lower only support the old bonobo-stuff, which does not work with Gnome 2.10 anymore. So...
I'm not really aware of the status of the 0.7 branch at this point. Can you comment on that dragonheart ?
Qui, good argument. Evert what's your opinion. I've got a report of some difficulty with 0.7.9 with evolution but I don't use either.
I haven't had a chance to try either version, and added myself to stay informed on the matter... ;-) Am currently emerging the ~x86 version... :-)
0.7.8 going stable unless any objections.
Well, is there any reason why seahorse 0.7.8 may NOT go stable? I think we should discuss this while drinking one or two bottles of beer. My calendar says, that I will have a free day in december. What do you think? *rolleyes*
0.7.9 does not work with gpg-1.4x. There is a patch in http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=313329 but it will not apply. I'm going to downgrade to 0.7.8 to check out, if this version works.
What exactly does not work? I'm using Seahorse 0.7.9 with Gnupg-1.4.1 and they work together. Signing, Encrypting, importing, exporting keys etc. etc.
Lars please answer comment 7. in the mean time 0.7.8 x86 stable.
