First thing is that there isnt a ebuild to install lconv. (it can be downloaded
from the ltp page).
Second is that I can't compile a program with -lgcov because that library doesnt
exist. I think it was supposed to be installed with gcc, but it wasnt. I'm using
the latest stable gcc 3.3.5 and glibc.

no idea what 'lconv' is

libgcov.a is provided by gcc-3.4 and better
