Description Joseph Pingenot 2005-07-28 12:24:29 UTC
Two somewhat disparate issues:

When building coda-kernel-6.0.0 on a 2.6-kernel system, the ebuild
(probably the makefile's fault) will enter an infinite recursive loop,
eventually exhausting all system memory

Newest coda kernel module version is 6.2, and the newer buildsystem seems
much cleaner

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

Wanted to have an ebuild, but am not familiar with making kernel module ebuilds.
Sorry! I got it halfway working.
Comment 1 Joseph Pingenot 2005-07-28 12:25:32 UTC
Bumping to "Major" because of the memory exhaustion issue

So dsd_ was kind enough to hack up an ebuild for 6.2 which is pretty much the
best example of linux-mod usage in an ebuild. Thanks DSD.

The new coda ebuild seems to be working thus far. Mille grazie!

Ok, killed the broken 6.0.0 ebuild. Thanks for testing.
