Description Martin May 2005-07-28 10:29:34 UTC
I took ebuild 1.1.0.20-r1 and changed the name. I had to change the symlink from
/usr/bin/skype -> /opt/skype/skype.bin

Perhaps this is not good style? Don't know - but for now it works...

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

Actual Results:
Works on x86

Well i tested with the symlink to the .bin and to the wrapper script and both
work. Actually to the link it works even better as it will do lots of nice
checks and change to proper workdir. Can you please tell us what happens?

In the mean time i'm changing the ebuild back to our wrapper script.

Maybe a minor issue, but the skype's icon under gnome menu isn't shown. After
ebuild install, the item "Skype VoIP" is created, but without respective icon
associated with it.

For me it seems to work now. (The link)
