Description Sterling Christensen 2005-07-28 09:50:16 UTC
Renaming the ebuild seems to download all the right files, but the patches don't
apply :(

This is my try at an updated ebuild for 0.97 (which has some nice new features).

I have reworked the patches, edit some paths in the ebuild and changed the
preferences system to save the preferences.ini in ~/.smclone (and not in the
current directory).

Btw, please add EBUILD to the keywords for this bugreport

Have you contacted the upstream-author about the patches? It's always better to
merge stuff upstream and I think saving in the homedir and making paths
configurable makes sense for everyone.
Comment 6 Bernard Cafarelli gentoo-dev 2005-08-19 15:03:57 UTC
Hum, no I didn't send them upstream, since they are adjustments from previous
patches in 0.95 and 0.96.
Did the original creator of the patches showed them upstream? (looks like it was
vapier) There's nothing about it in the games forums.

I guess that's what happens in your code when your main dev platform is windows
(one directory with binary, data, savegames, preferences, ...)

version bumped. Thanks for the bug report and patches.
