Description giovanni.bobbio 2005-07-28 07:57:19 UTC
Amarok 1.2.4 errors out on playing any song, like this:

ID3v2 header found(size=4273)
Guessed format: mpeg
Could not load mpeg-decoder

This happens for .ogg files, too, so I wonder about the above guess...

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

aKode is messy, it is still early software upstream, and at the amaroK level
its even earlier, it has been removed from svn amaroK until it becomes stabler
upstream.

Try out amarok with either gstreamer or xine backends, they are a lot more
stable.
Comment 4 giovanni.bobbio 2005-07-29 03:17:55 UTC
gstreamer works normally, so it seems an akode issue, indeed.
