Hi, I am running gnome 2.10 and have noticed that the way the gnome themes are setup the menus only display icons from the gnome applications. Any KDE applications do not have icons. I think a simple way to resolve this would be to have the default icon theme that all applications must put an icon for each menu item in. Then all the other icon themes can inherit from the default icon theme and only override the icons they want. Cheers, Paul
Applications without icons in their .desktop files would still need to be fixed individually, whether the inheritance mechanism is in place or not. This report does not describe a real bug. If you have specific contributions (e.g. patches for .desktop files), please file them in separate reports. Thanks.
