Sven is a programm that can control the special buttons on your multimedia keyboard. Keys such as: "WWW", "E-mail", volume ,CD-ROM control buttons, and others. Moreover, if you have an ordinary keyboard, with Sven you can emulate media-keys using multi-keys combinations, for example: Ctrl+w - to start a browser and so on. Sven is based on gtk+2, has been tested on Linux, and should work on *BSD systems. The program lets you adjust any model of keyboard, has a GUI front end and works with any WM. I've been looking for a utility like this. If there are more than just us two interested I'd be happy to be the maintainer. Currently I've got a couple packages that I'm dragging my feet on, but I'll take a look at this when I can.
Please fix the following and reopen: * LICENSE is invalid. * Are you really really sure gtk isn't an RDEPEND too? * ${A}, ${S} should be quoted. * Is there no need to run emake after the econf? * We have an eclass for doing freedesktop menu things. Can you use it?
