After emerging gtkcdlabel, it seems not to link correctly to libglade. On startup under KDE, I get a string of error messages, indicating that the handlers for the buttons have not linked. A complete gtkcdlabel window appears, but as one might expect there is no action on selecting any button. Re-emerging gtkcdlabel and libglade does not help. Same here on my ppc. No clue yet, I have to investigate.
FAQ/PROBLEMS: Q: I get lots of (gtkcdlabel:6269): libglade-WARNING **: could not find signal handler 'xxxxxxxxxxxxx'. when i start gtkcdlabel - and no button works. Whats wrong? A: Your linker is too old. Update or simply do the following LDFLAGS="${LDFLAGS:- -export-dynamic}" ; export LDFLAGS ./configure make
above works ....
I added that adicional LDFLAG to gtkcdlabel-1.0pre7-r1 ebuild. Now it works perfect. Thanks for your reports.
