Is there a way to trigger this crash consistently, or it never happened again?
(In reply to comment #1) > Is there a way to trigger this crash consistently, or it never happened again? It was the second time since june, but I use kate every day several hours.
> It was the second time since june, but I use kate every day several hours. Could be a Kate bug, could be your box is unstable. Did you test it lately!? The above backtrace is useless. You need to build with "nostrip" in FEATURES, without "-fomit-frame-pointer" in your compiler flags and USE=debug.
should be fixed with kdelibs-3.4.2-r1 and kde-env-r4 and a reboot
