[ebuild U ] games-strategy/wesnoth-0.9.4 [0.8.11] -editor +gnome +kde -lite
+nls -server -tools 0 kB

I try it with "-gnome -kde" too, but the same result:

Also note:
In the begining of emerge, there are seen these access_wr messages in configure

time (!!!) and then finish with these error and nothing merged

wesnoth-0.9.4.ebuild patch

Builds fine here but give this patch a try and see if that helps it build for
you.
Comment 2 Pavel Riha 2005-07-25 15:19:34 UTC
I tried the patch, but I have got the same result :((
even with "-gnome -kde" I got this messages during configure phase:

Comment 3 Mr. Bones. (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-07-25 15:32:14 UTC
what version of kdelibs do you have installed?
Comment 4 Pavel Riha 2005-07-25 15:44:30 UTC
kdelibs: Latest version installed: 3.1.1a

Shell I upgrade it?
I dont use KDE, so it would be nice, to be able to compile wesnoth without kde
(with USE "-kde")

Comment 5 Mr. Bones. (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-07-25 15:52:44 UTC
yeah. you should either upgrade it or uninstall it. That's a really old version.
Comment 6 Pavel Riha 2005-07-26 11:08:10 UTC
upgrading kdelibs fails with the same error ;) (access violation)
I must first uninstall it and then emerge new version.
now I can emerge wesnoth too, thanks
