Just a reminder for later stage:

22:49 < parapente> neysx, is it generally preferable to attach patches to that 
                   documents or just reattach the fixed one?
22:50 <@neysx> patches against docs in CVS, new full docs otherwise
22:50 <@neysx> your patch was no trouble
22:50 < rane> could go to minifaq section i proposed some time ago

I revamped rane's original idea, and also added several helpful pointers that have been heard on IRC by the doc devs themselves. (usually when I had made a mistake on submitting a document, and so on). Took their advice on how things are done and added that to rane's original patch. :)

Revised and updated the proposed additions, especially since you just did some spring cleaning on the doc. Does this look good to you?
