As you can see in the linked png with xorg-6.8.2-r2 transparency is broken. I'm using nvidia latest driver and as you can see here I'm not the only one having this problem: http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-357455-highlight-openoffice+transparent.html Maybe a good idea is to check which of the new -r2 patches broke what in -r1 was working fine. Just masked xorg-x11-6.8.2-r2 til solution. As someone else said: r2 became too quikly stable... Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
