Description academicsam@gmail.com 2005-07-11 08:48:53 UTC
Kmail crashes everytime when I shift-click on message view pane. The sequence
doesn't matter. i.e. click on the pane fist and then shift-click, shift click
without first doing anything, sacrifice a offering at KDE altar before clicking etc.

I'll be happy to do any tests, compile with particular options etc that are
needed to fix this.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Shift-left-click on message pane (bottom right pane)
2.
3.

Actual Results:
Crash

Expected Results:
Highlight the text from begining to the mouse-click position.

Comment 1 academicsam@gmail.com 2005-07-11 09:05:56 UTC
Other KDE applications like kate, korganizer seems OK. Kmail cannot handle shift
click on any message display window such as the one you get when double clicking
on an email. However 'view source' window seems fine as it dosen't handle any
text highlighting.
