I'd like to see dev-libs/boehm-gc-6.4 bumped to stable on x86.
This version of the boehm-gc is considered "an older, more stable version" by
the author himself.(Cite from the Webpage
http://www.hpl.hp.com/personal/Hans_Boehm/gc/ )

It isn't known to cause problems the old one wouldn't. (referring to Bug #76742
here.)
There was one obscure bugreport #88407, but it is totally silent since 2005-04-08.

boehm-gc-6.4 works just fine for me in combination with inkscape-0.41-r1 which
is blocked vom getting stable on x86 by the unstable boehm-gc. There in bug
#92995 is at least one more individual that's happy and stable with it, besides
that some other archs that are too.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

MATSUU Takuto do you maintain boehm-gc?
If yes, please adjust metadata.xml. Thanks :)

6.4 stable on x86.
