I searched bugs and was hoping this would have been resolved, but I have yet to find a useful answer. 'emerge kde' seems to be kicking everyone's butt, no? I tried 'emerge -u --deep world' and I tried to unmerge freetype 2.1.2-r1 (recommended on a board) I've tried about 5 or 6 emerges with all the info from the forums, but none are working or are clear enough for a n00b like myself to 'get it.' To be honest, I'd be happy with emergeing KDE 3.0.3 if I knew how the heck to do that, but I don't. I have thought about trying to emerge from the Live UT2002 CD, but only see the kdebase in the manual. I know a lot of people have been having trouble. Hope you guys and gals have a solution soon.
