Please update alsa packages to 1.0.9-rc4(a).

corrected amd64 typo (should be ~amd64) and the alsa-tools-1.0.6-gcc34.patch
seems to have been fixed upstream, so that patch is not applied in this ebuild.

I wouldn't add that RESTRICT="nomirror" -- let the ebuilds find the tarballs
via
a mirror search first, then, finally, via the SRC_URI.   Should the tarballs
eventually be mirrored, you're only creating more work for the devs.......they
will have to edit out the RESTRICT.

As it's not an official ebuild, the devs aren't giong to use it as is. And the 
file isn't available on the Gentoo mirrors. Could have used "fetch" instead of 
"nomirror" but in either case a change would need to be made. 
 

Ok, well, let's see how fast the devs can get their versions in portage.  Some
of the Alsa ebuilds in portage are quite out of date. 

yeah, I figured they weren't all that interested in getting these rc's out, so 
let's make these work if someone wants them 

I just posted 1.0.9 ebuilds on bug #94196.  This rc4 was very short-lived.
