A new version of net-wireless/ndiswrapper is availible.

New ebuild: net-wireless/ndiswrapper

Compiles and runs nicely. Older ndiswrapper would not with 2.6.11 patched with
swsusp2 (supplied patch takes care of that issue).
'net.wlan0 start' complains about my wireless extensions being version 17 not
18.
Should be tested with software suspend 2 patched but disabled (bug so-and-so
listed, carried over from other ebuild); compiles, runs with newest as of 24
May 2005 swsusp2 patch. I do not know whether it will actually suspend.

Recommend applying same fix to older ndiswrapper. CONFIG_SOFTWARE_SUSPEND2 is
now CONFIG_SUSPEND2 in 2.6.11 with swsusp2 2.1.8.9

1.2 is availible now and all that is needed is to rename the ebuild.

Announcement:
Version 1.2 has been released. Following is short summary of changes
since 1.1:

* Support for NX (no-execute) bit
* 64-bit Broadcom driver works with HIGHMEM.
* Implemented I/O manager layer.
* Many bug fixes

Much of the work (and time) was to get 64-bit Inprocomm driver
working. Current status is that the driver loads, card initializes,
associates, but packets are never transmitted. Apparently receiving of
packets works. If you want to debug it, install with

make INPROCOMM_AMD64=1 install

and possibly debug options.
