Using gstreamer-0.5 I have the problem, that gst-register can find its plugins
but I have no chance to use it, also the esdsink and alsasink is mentioned in
the registry.xml.

$ gstreamer-properties
(gstreamer-properties:27783): GStreamer-CRITICAL **: Factory for `alsasink' has
no type. This probably means the plugin wasn't found because the registry is
broken. The plugin GStreamer was looking for is named 'alsa' and is expected in
file '/usr/lib/gstreamer-0.8/libgstalsa.so'. The registry for this plugin is
located at '/home/lars/.gstreamer-0.8/registry.xml'

Do you have an idea what to do now?
