I assume that package has been taken from my overlay https://github.com/SpiderX/portage-overlay/tree/master/dev-python/ahocorasick and putted into https://github.com/gentoo/guru/tree/master/dev-python/ahocorasick. I don't have 1.4.4 version of ahocorasick in my overlay and its current version 2.0.0 doesn't installs .egg/.egg-info. I don't have any relationship (including commit rights), so it is unclear how I can help with this.
I have no relation with this package other than removing a reference of proxy-maintainers in the metadata.xml. This ebuild was added and siggned off by Vitaly Zdanevich <zdanevich.vitaly@ya.ru> in commit 0a4929e2e2005e730785db2d35e110836d8428c2. Probably this would be the right person to assign this issue and potentially correct the metadata.xml file.
Second thought, even thought I never listened about this program, as the fix is easy I have fixed it and updated the metadata.xml removing the wrong maintainer and adding myself.
