sorry, not here:

texi2dvi --pdf --batch `test -f 'avrdude.texi' || echo './'`avrdude.texi
This is e-TeX, Version 3.141592-2.2 (Web2C 7.5.4)

Comment 3 Lukas Sandström 2005-06-23 07:28:24 UTC
Did you try 4.4.0-r1? 4.4.0 is broken.
Comment 4 Simon Stelling (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-06-23 09:45:52 UTC
yep, that's the one i tried
Comment 5 Lukas Sandström 2005-06-23 13:06:57 UTC
What's the version of your texi2html?
I just synced and tested the ebuild again and it still works for me.
Comment 6 Simon Stelling (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-06-23 13:34:36 UTC
app-text/texi2html-1.76
Comment 7 Lukas Sandström 2005-06-23 14:41:01 UTC
The problem might be that your version of etex i less forgiving.

What is your version of the tetex package? I'm using 2.0.2-r5. (latest stable)
Comment 8 Simon Stelling (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-06-27 11:54:58 UTC
you were right, for some reason it fails with 3.0, so i merged 2.0.2-r5 and it
works fine.. marked ~amd64
