Description Michael Hill 2005-05-03 06:28:04 UTC
First, the good news: Eterm 0.9.3-r3 in transparency mode shows the desktop background even while mutt is running (previously, running mutt would turn the terminal background black). Now the bad news: I notice that screen updates in mutt are broken. E.g. the status bar says "0 deleted messages" after an update ('$') command, but the screen still shows the deleted messages. I have to refresh the screen ('^L') to get the display right again.

(I've had mutt-1.5.8-r2 installed since March 18, but I've only seen the weird behavior in the last few days.)

Here are the "emerge -pv" lines to show the relevant USE flags:

[ebuild R ] x11-terms/eterm-0.9.3-r3 -escreen -etwin +mmx 0 kB
[ebuild R ] mail-client/mutt-1.5.8-r2 -buffysize -cjk +crypt -debug -imap +mbox -nls -nntp -sasl -slang +ssl -vanilla 0 kB
