whenever compiling a package configure complains with the following warning: ./configure --prefix=/usr --host=x86_64-pc-linux-gnu --mandir=/usr/share/man --infodir=/usr/share/info --datadir=/usr/share --sysconfdir=/etc --localstatedir=/var/lib --libdir=/usr/lib64 --without-tcl --without-tk configure: WARNING: If you wanted to set the --build type, don't use --host. If a cross compiler is detected then cross compile mode will be used. setting the --build switch (in addition to host) to x86_64-pc-linux-gnu will solve the issue. Note, the fix will only affect ebuilds that use econf directly or indirectly.
I believe this has been fixed already?
Yes, but it's not yet stabled.
Fixed on or before 2.0.51.22-r1
Looking through the batch of bugs, I'm not sure that some of these are actually fixed in stable. Others, the requirements have possibly changed after the initial fix was committed. If you think this bug has been closed incorrectly, please reopen or ask that it be reopened.
