Bogofilter is a bayesian spam filter written by ESR. Please consider it for inclusion into gentoo. It has been tested on x86 and gentoo 1.4

Created attachment 5502 [details] Fixes a typo in man pages #10435 which I posted yesterday was a duplicate of Evan Read's ebuilds, #8827 & #8828. I include here an updated bogofilter ebuild which fixes a type in the man pages: sources changed commandline options '-n' & '-N' to '-h' & '-H' respectively, but those were not reflected in the man pages. Bogofilter's author has been mailed about the issue, but no response was heard back.
New version of bogofilter 0.8.0 no longer requires judy
Jason, excuse me, but where do we find version 0.8? I only see 0.7 on Eryc Raymond's web page. Is there any kind of mailing list? I know there's one for SpamProbe, the other Bayesian filter I ditched due to its slowness, but couldn't find any for Bogofilter. Nor for any other ESR's work, for that matter.
I don't know where he got it, but Debian guy has been tracking release candidates and all sorts of things leading up to 0.8. bogofilter 0.8.0.rel-2 http://packages.debian.org/unstable/mail/bogofilter.html The original source is at: http://ftp.debian.org/debian/pool/main/b/bogofilter/bogofilter_0.8.0.rel.orig.tar.gz Clint Adams looks after it: schizo@debian.org
Added 0.8.0 to cvs. (It's now a sourceforge project.) Please test.
