A critical bug creeped in: In Akregator 1.0 and 1.0.1 the global archive options Delete Article s older than... and Disable archiving are mixed up: Choosing Delete Articles older than... causes a loss of feed archives unless a feed has its own archive setting overriding the global one.

Thus, don't set Delete Articles older than... in the configure dialog when you're using Akregator 1.0 or 1.0.1. (you can check the version in the "Help" menu, "About Akregator")

Akregator 1.0.2 fixes this bug
