This is an AAC problem. I just had the same error come up on two seperate boxes on two seperate packages both using the AAC use flag. As soon as I clicked it off, those packages compiled fine.

See bug 89896 - it has the same problem as #4, and a patch to fix it. Patch should be applied to both ebuilds (0.17 and 0.18)
This should be fixed in 0.18
