Description:   Opened: 2005-02-12 18:59 0000
After updating world topday, my system didn't restart. Somehow, the new gawk
links against libexpat, whereas the old one didn't do that. My /usr isn't on
the same partition as / and so, the shared file can't be loaded. The system
doesn't get far.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Emerge gawk
2. reboot

Actual Results:
Kernel loads fine and then ... nothing.

Expected Results:
Go on booting.
