Description Mirko Froehlich 2005-02-03 21:57:21 UTC
I was able to emerge and use gnome-bluetooth on my amd64 system. It should probably be marked at least ~amd64.

Some caveats:
gnome-bluetooth depends on net-wireless/libbtctl, which is also marked x86 only. Note that this compiles fine on amd64 as long as openobex-1.0.0 (NOT 1.0.1!) is installed, which again is marked x86 only.

After installing gnome-bluetooth, I was able to connect to my Motorola V551 phone and transfer several files and J2ME applications.

Reproducible: Always

I just realized I forgot to include the gnome-bluetooth version number: 0.5.1
