One of the current problem with livecd is the complete inability of closing the local consoles or at least lock them. That is necessary if you have this usage pattern: 1 start the livecd 2 change the password 3 start sshd 4 closed every local console 5 continue the setup from remote. A solution is adding vlock to the livecd or let users closed every local console again
